A Plan for Positive Influence

This papers strategy is to creating a plan for positive influence and what it will take to apply the plan for the team in a business setting. A plan will be showed that would increase the team’s motivation, satisfaction, and performance. To evaluate how attitudes and emotions influence behaviors, this discussion will discuss attitudes and job satisfaction. The discussion will start by describing what attitudes are and how to effectively deal with attitudes.

Examining the three parts of the modules, they are statically tied together. In many areas an employee cannot use one without the other. In businesses attitudes plays a complicated part because they display the behavioral part of an employee. Attitudes are usually consistent in helping keep a balance within the team. Once attitudes become inconsistent problems occur and employees fight to gain control of his or her attitude or behavior.
Attitudes of an individual can help employers determine if their employees are doing great jobs by reviewing his or her behaviors. An employer will walk into the office and just recognizing if employee’s attitudes are pleasant or unpleasant. Generally, when the employee’s behavior is lively and cheerful, the work production is above average. When working with clients, they are more prohibited to return because of the cheerful welcome received. Some of the things that can produce great attitudes on a job are; competitive pay rates, acknowledging the skills of employee. Employees understanding their boss’s expectation, employee receiving positive feedback on his or her job performance, training to enable the employee for advancement, and making the employees feel as if he or she is part of the company by giving him or her responsibility within the company to make decisions.
Job Satisfaction
According to "" (2012), job satisfaction is defined as; “the extent to which a person's hopes, desires, and expectations about the employment he or she is engaged in are fulfilled.” This means an employee should have a positive feeling about one’s job resulting from an evaluation of its characteristics. Employees who have a great respect for his or her job is satisfied and have positive moods while on-the-job, while an employee is displeased are usually in a negative mood while on-the-job. If someone wanted to get a rating of how people feel about his or her job, just ask them, how satisfied they are with his or her job and give them a range to choose from. The typical survey on most satisfied to unsatisfied usually will work. Most employees are honestly satisfied with his or her job will reply in a positive manner.
Emotions and Moods
According to University of Phoenix, “emotions are intense feelings that are directed at someone or something and moods are feelings that tend to be less intense than emotions and that often lack a contextual stimulus.” Emotions are usually shown when a person is very happy when he or she sees a significant other and falls in love with him or her or when meeting up with a friend from long ago someone has not seen in a long time.
