501 Use and develop systems that promote communication

Review the range of groups and individuals whose communication needs must be addressed in own job role
Within my job role I communicate with wide range of people this could be direct support staff who I manage, senior managers, external agencies, service users and their relatives. I do communicate with these people using several methods such as meetings, training, face to face discussion, and whilst undertaking assessments. Personality
Extraverts will be more confident communicators, they may speak before they have digested information, introverts are more likely to be shy listen and digest information and take time to consider a response
Time
Hurried communication can lose context and may not be understood this prevents people from formulating a response.
Use and abuse of power
People may feel they are expected to communicate in certain ways due to the powerful influence of others.

Anxiety and depression
Personal health issues can affect communication for example if someone is stressed or anxious they may be more aggressive or unable to take a rational approach
