Memorial
Military Museum-Campbellford, Ontario. |
|
In late May 2006, I had the opportunity to visit a special
out of the way museum, I had known of the Campbellford
museum for many years and had not had the opportunity to
visit.
It is a fantastic little private museum founded and built by Harold Carlaw.
Harold's interest in the military started when he was quite
young, and an avid modeller. His model collection out grew
his residence, so it moved it "out back".
There are litterly thousands of displays and models, too
many to list here!

signed by Jan Zurakowski. |

The above model is a copy of the original Avro Canada
main office display. The original is owned by the AHFC. Harold
made the fiberglas plug and copies from the original. These
models are seen in many Canadian museums. He can build copies
for Radio Control flyers. |
