March 18, 2008, we have lost an important part of our Avro Canada Heritage, valued ARC member and good friend.

Suddenly, Avro Artist, Researcher and Author Randall Whitcomb passed on. His hard work and dedication can never be replaced. We miss Randy and cherish the fond memories that he gave us.

WHITCOMB, Randy Leonard - Born January 30th, 1964 in Whitemouth, Manitoba, died suddenly on March 18th, 2008, in Tara, at the age of 44. Accomplished author and talented artist. Beloved brother of Rick Whitcomb and his wife, Tawnya, of Tara and Christine Hall and her spouse, Jean-Francois Laframboise, of Vancouver. Dear stepson of Lloyd Hall, of Tara. Predeceased by his mother, Barbara Hall (nee Gregg); his father Leonard Archibald Whitcomb and his brother Jamie. Loving uncle to Allison, Madison, Zachary and Mackenlie. A memorial service to honour Randy's life will be held at Sarawak United Church, East Linton on Monday, March 24th at 3:00 p.m. A private cremation will take place at a later date.
